Once you log in you'll find a pool of about 299,000 singles, though not all of those seem to be active. To keep the community safe and free of scammers, WooPlus says that each profile is reviewed manually before going live.

WooPlus has been called the "Tinder for plus sized people". Among the singles profiles you'll find full figured women, large men, as well as admirers, those people who just want to meet a plus size partner.

Plus Sized Matches

The matching works in a simple, intuitive way and those familiar with Tinder style matching will feel right at home. When you like someone by swiping right on their profile, and they like you too, you match. When you match with someone, that then lets you to open a chat session with them. It also lets you exchange private photos so you can become more intimate.

The app uses your phone GPS for local date matching. If you grant the app access to your location under privacy settings, it should match you according to members who're nearest to you. Though as it's a smallish app, don't expect to be bumping into potential dates on every street corner.

Is it Free?

WooPlus advertises itself as a free to join app. But like most other dating apps there's a paid service, called WooPlus VIP. Those who use the app for a while, soon find that many of the things you need to meet people will require an upgrade.

The upgrade gives you unrestricted access whereas free users are limited in the number of matches they can make each day and messages they can send. This possibly gives paid members a better chance of meeting someone.
