Speeddate.com is a random date-arranging program and website that "matches" you with someone. It maybe of the opposite sex but at times it may potentially be of the same gender. Both the web site and the program will nag to you that “so and so†won't talk to you unless you are a subscriber. Here's the catch: even current non-subscribers notify you that you aren't worthy to talk to if you aren't a subscriber. And at times I've seen fake profiles to make it seem they have more users than they really do - or to test if you are active.
Here's the scam part (even though the fake profiles are a scam in itself), when you actually join they will under no condition provide for a refund even if they are at fault as stated in their Terms and Conditions. They have a non-refund policy. The "customer service" if you want to call it that will always side with their own company's policies even though they have had very little in terms of providing an actual product that provides value. If you want to be entertained and waste your time, this might be a good site. If you want to actually go on a date there are much better options out there.
The bottom line is that if you bought a luxury piece of chocolate for example, and it cost a fair amount, then you realize once you open it it’s a bunch of maggots, and wanted a refund you are entirely out of luck. This is one of the worst companies in terms of providing adequate resolution. I hope they go bankrupt. Companies should really take responsibility for their own corporate behavior.
