SingleMomsandDads.com is a social site especially for singles with children of their own. It allows you to get to know other single moms and dads in your town. The site has a free account which lets you create your own photo profile.
Upon signing up for free and creating a profile with photo, you can then search for compatible matches. The entry level membership allows you to go inside without making any committment - other than the few minutes to signup. Unfortunately I didn't find a great deal of activity there, but this depends on where you live.
Getting Matches
With the zip code search, you can find matches either in your vicinity or get to know others over the distances using the site's email, chat or instant message features.
For those new to online dating, they offer a basic easy to navigate layout and such things as virtual flirt messages for breaking the ice. Upgrading to a paid membership provides complete access to the site's best features and privileges.
There is a three day trial membership for only $1.00. If you select this option you will get a firsthand look at all the advantages a full membership brings. However, the trial must be cancelled by the subscriber at the end of the three day period to keep from incurring a charge of $29.95.
Lack of People...
What lets this site down however is the lack of numbers and ability to find people close by. For that reason most would be better off on a bigger site like Match.com.
