I foolishly decided to pay for a 6 month subscription in hopes to have a better chance in meeting someone. In that period I am pleased to say I encountered no bots. Although the majority of profiles were fake - all of which had an intention to scam money from you!!
I must admit the stories they come up with in order to scam you are getting very creative nowadays (eg: Ladies that claims to be models, that was doing a shoot in your city, require you to book their time ("a photo shoot") in order to meet as that is the only way their "manager" will allow them to meet with you...
Other members will chat with you for a couple weeks, build a rapport, and then come up with a story that they are in need of some financial assistance, or ask to be sent an iTunes voucher...
Another lady requested me to pay a membership to a site that 'proves' I am indeed a human with sincere intentions to meet and cause her no harm. Absolutely absurd!!
Hopefully you will heed my warning and save your money and time!!
