Though MilitaryFriends is most popular in the US, and the UK, plenty of members in other countries can be found there too.
The website is run by Successful Match and inside you'll find a standard layout, membership plans and the obligatory range of features you'd expect on any dating site.
Membership
Gold members have the full range of features including extended search options, and viewing more specific information about other members, such as when they last logged on. Free members can perform basic searches, view profiles and send flirts. However, they aren't able to use the internal mail system.
MilitaryFriends brings people together who share a common interest or career in one of the armed services. However it doesn't allow for example searches to be refined by armed services type or role.
Another drawback is that it is quite a bit smaller than rival venues such as MilitaryCupid and that reduces the matches you're likely to get.
All registered users can create their own blogs and contribute to the military forums.
