The registration is a quick and easy process that requires a valid email address. Once the registration process is completed, you can use the standard or advanced search options to find compatible matches locally or internationally.

Searches can be organized by "last active", "newest" or "photos first" - handy for sorting long lists of results. There's a quite a few different search settings and they'll take some experimentation to find what suits you.

Profiles

Completing your match questionnaire is a good idea as this will greatly improve the quality of matches you receive via the site's automatic matchmaking software. The form lets you state your preferences in quite some detail, even down to things such as pets and cultural background.

If you enjoy the site you'll need to purchase of a Gold membership in order to obtain full email and chat privileges. For a little bit more per month, a Platinum membership will allow access to video messaging and voicemail.

If you upgrade you receive a host of other benefits such as receiving higher ranking in searches than free members and access to the site's message translator.

In Brief...

I found MexicanCupid to be an interesting place to meet people as well being a place to explore a different cultural. Yes it does draw people who want to meet Mexican women for marriage but you can go there too just to make new friends and practice a little Spanish! The language tools and other activities assist this mingling of cultures. If you want to make full use of the site, including the ability to read anyone's emails you will need to consider upgrading.
