Metrodate

I've been on Metrodate on and off for a few years now. I do have some good friends on there (quite a lot to be exact), but that's about the only good thing the site is for, making friends. However, when trying to have a decent chat with decent people, trolls come in quite a bit and they will harass you and say some very nasty things to you.

You can put them on ignore, but sometimes that doesn't work because they can just make another profile. Plenty of scammers on there, and let me warn the lgbt community, it's not really a place for you at all! There's quite a bit of homophobia that's very rampant on there (more so against gay men than anybody else) and be expected to argue and fight with a homophobe.

There has also been accounts of racism in there as well, so look out if you want to join the site. Should you have to report a member on the chatroom, you never know if they got banned or not since the site doesn't tell you what the status of your complaint is.

However, there are some cool people on there (if you weed out the idiots that lurk on there all the time) that you can have nice conversations with from all over the world.
