This is the worst site ever! It used to be a reputable site many years ago but now I wouldn't even classify it as a dating site. I'd say about 85% of the women profiles are fake. Women from Nigeria or Ghana posing as Americans. It's obvious once you start chatting that their English is bad and they always have some sob story to tell in efforts to get you to send them some money. Other sites don't have this problem so it leads me to believe that Mate 1 is doing a horrible job of screening profiles. Fraud is running rampant on this site and Mate 1 is part of it by charging the amount they do to become a member.
