"Match - Good place to look for an older woman"

I haven't had good luck on Match in two weeks, so I was attracted to a review that said men on the site outnumbered women at a 4 or 5 to 1 ratio - quite the opposite to the ratio of single older men to single older women in the United States. I wondered how he knew so I did some simple research. Here's what I discovered:
Man looking for woman, 45-70, 1000 miles of my ZIP (southern state): 1032 women.
Woman looking for a man, 45-70, 1000 miles of my zip: 139 men.
I repeated the same with a New York City zip; 1602 women for 165 men.
This was the opposite of the other reviewer's suggestion. Conclusion is also the opposite of my experience (maybe I might list myself as middle of the road rather than socialist): Older men - this is a good place to look for an older woman. Odds are good 7.5 to 1 in your favor!
