Livelinks is a phone and app chatline service. You can chat with and text other people looking for a date in your area. On entering an area code, you'll be sent a local call up number. Livelinks allows for group chat, as well as private 1-on-1 calls.
How It Works
To get started, rather than completing an online profile, you record a voice greeting and connect with other people for talking. There are general chat lines, for heterosexuals, along with specialized communities for gays and lesbians, and one for black singles. The service covers the US and Canada.
Meeting People
When you go on Livelinks for chatting, you can only hear the voice messages of other members who are currently logged in, so you can always find someone to chat with live.
Since coming online in 2005, Livelinks has gained about 4,000 members. This is a live chat forum so the number of people varies from day to day. Though at the right times you should find someone to talk to, whether you want a casual fling or are looking for a long term relationship.
Rather than paying for a membership, you set up you voice message box for free, but pay for chatting minutes. Membership is free for women.
