About a year ago I joined Geek to Geek, I joined because I was nervous around women didn't exactly know how to get a date and from my experience I have to agree with the other reviewers on here this site isn't good at all. During the time that I was on it I didn't meet a single person and it wasn't for a lack of trying either I put up pictures and I sent "winks" bought a membership and sent messages but I never got a response back from anybody and all the messages that I received seemed manufactured and fake. Eventually I stopped going to the website and cancelled my paid membership, it hadn't done me any good but I assumed that was because of my location (Kansas isn't exactly a hotbed of romance you know).

Months later I ended up meeting a girl that and we've been going steady for a few months, I like her, hell I may even be falling in love with her, she's everything that I've been looking for and Christmas is coming up and I want to buy her a present. I don't have a lot of money I'm between jobs and I got a torn ACL and surgery coming up which is making it hard to find a job. I go to the mall to buy her a gift only to find that I have no money I should have plenty because I've been frugal with my money and saved so that I could buy her something, turns out that I don't have the money to buy my girlfriend a Christmas present. Turns out Geek2Geek has been draining my account for months and I didn't know. I wish I had known that this site was a scam before I'd given them my credit card info. If you’re looking to meet somebody Geek2Geek will do the opposite for you, keep you single and steal your money.
