I have been on and off this site a few times. I did actually meet a friend through this site around the beginning that I am still in contact with, but was unsuccessful in finding someone for a deeper relationship than friends so I decided to try again since I had had at least one success during one of their sales.

I had been slammed with the 'auto renewal' once so I was extra careful to make sure it was unchecked, though I had not seen I was supposed to get an email confirmation and this second time when I got the charge today (at double the rate that I had on the trial period) I found the confirmation in my spam folder, when all their other emails make it through.

My guess is they do that on purpose where they send that email out to where it will get flagged by your spam folder. I am currently fighting with them over the charge because it came out today, and even without proof that I cancelled, since the payment came out the same day I contacted them and I have not received any service from them for this period I am using that argument and demanding a phone call if they do not comply with my refund.

I have left a message with the manager at my bank knowing that with debit card purchases your window of disputes is very low (I will never use my debit card online again because they are faaar more limited in their ability to get money back than a credit card) Hopefully I can get my $69.99 back but I am not holding my breath.
