After I cancelled my account, they continued to charge my paypal for three months afterwards. When I put in a complaint to the webmaster, I was refused a refund because of some supposed form to stop them from continuing to automatically renew my subscription. I had never seen this when I deactivated my account, and it was nearly impossible to find the way to deactivate it in the first place. Their response was a very snide refusal to refund any of my money, stating that their policies say I must fill out a form to stop them from continuing to charge my account. This was in no way, shape, or form mentioned at all when I went to actively deactivate my account. While it may have been in the original agreement (I don't recall what was on it, as I subscribed months ago and have only disputed any charges after I canceled the account), there was no such information when my account was halted.
As of now, I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and am escalating a dispute through Paypal. Other former users throughout the internet have had problems with them before, and have even been forced to get their banks involved to get a refund. I might have to do that, ultimately, but I'm hoping that the BBB will force them to change their unethical business practices.
