Over the last 4 years I tried e-Harmony 3 separate times.1st time I did all the extras to attract people, which accomplished nothing except deplete me of money. Each experience was the same. Most matches are not members or not real. Those left don't respond to initial contact or eventually drop the ball. You are better off joining with meetup groups where at least you will do something you already enjoy and meet real people who share that interest.
