ArmenianMatch's purpose is to bring together Armenian men and women. Inside, people can meet new friends, acquaintances or even find their soul mate. This site's aim is to unite Armenians where ever they may be, thereby helping to strengthen this unique culture.
Registering
Joining the site is free. Once the simple registration form is completed, you'll be sent an email which you will need to activate your membership. Therefore a valid email address is necessary to complete the registration. To maintain the integrity of the site, new profiles are also "vetted". This step ensures that only profiles of a sufficient standard are displayed.
ArmenianMatch.com is one of only a few niche sites dedicated to bringing together people of Armenia (also known as Hayastan). While the site is created for Armenians, it also welcomes people from other races and cultures to join and participate in the social network.
An optional feature that you can add to your profile, known as "Hyeness", allows you to tell others just how involved you are in Armenian matters. This includes questions such as membership of organizations, reading of cultural newspapers, speaking of the Armenian language and the like.
What's Inside?
The layout of the site is straightforward and easy to use, with most of the features one would expect on a matchmaking site easily accessible. Locating new friends or potential partners is a simple matter with the handy tools provided. As well as a quick search, there's also a useful advanced search feature that enables members to locate others by various criteria, including location (with zip code locator), physical appearance, ethnic origin, and relationship type sought.
It's also possible to display only those profiles with a photo, or to see who's online. You can even surprise your potential soul mate with an Armenian Flirt by sending them Armenian Coffee or Choereg (an Armenian sweet bread).
While standard members are able to view profiles and send flirts, in order send emails to other members an upgrade to a premium membership will be required.
