Amigos.com Review
They aim to bring people together for the better, and their name which means 'friend' in Spanish - sums it up. Inside you'll find people looking for new friends, pen pals and of course, romantic partners.
Getting In
To get started there's a simple registration form where they ask for a minimum amount of personal information. Then just confirm your email address with the activation link and you're in.
Although you can continue to use the site with a blank profile, it isn't recommended and is unlikely to get you meeting the quality people you'd want to meet.

The first thing you should do is set your Cupid Preferences. You can find the link to these settings at the bottom of the search menu. On this page you'll be able to set the basic preferences of the people you want to meet. That includes their race, sexual orientation, age range and their distance from you.
All of the searches will now show you people who match your basic preferences until you tell it otherwise. The three instant searches that are provided are Members Near Me, Who's Online and New Matches.
If you're getting too many or too few matches, it's easy to remedy this by tweaking around with Cupid Settings until you get it just right.
You can do a deeper search of people on their database by going to the advanced search page. However some of the choices are only accessible once you upgrade to a paying membership.
Membership
As a guest user your access will be quite restricted. Clicking on a profile brings up a thumb sized image of that person but it won't allow you to view other details on the profile nor other pictures. These areas are locked until you upgrade your account to either Gold or Silver.

If you opt for either of these you get to use enhanced features and most importantly you will be able to communicate openly with everyone on the site. Guests can be contacted by paying members, but they can't initiate contact themselves.
They can only contact paying members who have paid for this privilege as an optional upgrade.
In Brief
Amigos is an active place for Spanish people, those of Spanish origin and just about anyone who wants to meet them. In general profiles are descriptive on interests, likes, dislikes and what they are looking for in a partner.
Like other Friendfinder websites it is quite easy to navigate and contains more than enough activities to keep most visitors occupied. It is accessible in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
