A hip site for 20 to 40-somethings, Person.com is a place for chatting and having fun online. Most of the activity is on webcams and the site's built in messenger system, but other activities are available (some of which require credits) including videos, photo rating contests and interest groups.



You can search for people by location, or age range, or specific interests. There's also a “match” button which, when checked, will show you only those people who have stated on their profile that they are open to meeting someone. If you're seeking more than friendship, this feature allows you to refine your search to that effect.

The site does carry a lot of ads, some of which have adult material. There are also explicit video and cams shows advertised on several pages. There is a block option, under account settings, for those who don't want to view this material.

Though it bills itself as a free site, this isn't strictly true. Person.com has an optional credit system (the wallet), that can be used to send gifts, feature yourself, improve your profile position in searches, or buy “hot or not” points. There's also a premium account upgrade which grants additional access such as messaging popular users, express message delivery, and the possibility to surf the site without ads.
