The web's leading matchmaker eHarmony now has a site especially for Canadian singles. At eHarmony Canada you fill in a questionnaire and receive matches that are suited to your personality, your goals and your ambitions. eharmony has a long track record of creating successful marriages and long-term relationships.

eHarmony is considered to have the most in depth matchmaking available.

eHarmony.ca is Canada's versions of the eharmony websites, which began in the US. It is one of the most successful matchmaking websites in the world, and one of the most well known. Founded by Dr. Neil Warren, a dating and relationship expert, eHarmony is known for its ability to create long lasting compatible matches.

The Canadian site has been online since around 2005. It has established itself as one of the most popular paid matchmaking sites in that country, thanks to the company's proven track record.

The Compatibility Test

One of their best known aspects is their compatibility matching software, which helps you find a match with someone who is compatible with you on the most important levels.

You'll need to allow around 30-45 minutes to complete the questionnaire in full. It is designed to examine all aspects of your personality, including facets such as humor, ambition, beliefs and lifestyle among other things.

You can join and take your compatibility test for free. You'll even be able to see who your matches are after taking the test. But, you will need a paid membership in order to contact anyone.

Unlike many other dating sites, eHarmony does't let you browse profiles and forge your own connections with other people there. For this reason, it's best suited to those who want to leave the matchmaking up to someone else (that someone being eHarmony's scientifically proven algorithm).

In Brief

If you are willing to let science act as cupid, eHarmony is worth a try. Those uncomfortable or unwilling to examine themselves at length are not likely to find themselves suited to eHarmony.
